As a reputable high street law firm, we pride ourselves in providing high quality legal services to our clients.

We are looking to recruit in a number of departments. Personal attributes for all applicants should include: great customer focus, a willingness to learn, flexibility in your methods of thinking, good interpersonal skills, the ability to prioritize within a high-intensity workload, an aptitude of being organized and structured in your work, and most importantly; good attention to detail.

You should be able to work between core hours of 9.00 am – 5.00 pm and either live locally or be happy with the commute to LE2 (near the train station).

Departments where we are looking to recruit, and positions available, are:

Private Client team – a legal secretary/assistant/paralegal.

You will be working in a small team that includes a Partner and two other fee earners and an apprentice, to assist on all aspects of wills, probate, trusts and private client work.

To be considered, you must have at least 12 months experience supporting a private client department or fee earner. There will be opportunities for career progression.

Full time is preferred but part time would be considered for the right candidate with salary dependent on experience together with benefits package.

Residential Conveyancing Team – an Intermediary Conveyancing Assistant and a Conveyancing Administrative Assistant

Both roles are in a fast-paced high-volume working environment in a department of team of 15, including; solicitors, conveyancers and support colleagues.

Intermediary Conveyancing Assistant

You will be competent using all Microsoft software packages, and, if possible, TIKIT systems (although full training will be given). You will have existing residential conveyancing administrative or support experience.

You will work closely with a small team, your main role will be to support the fee earners with client matters including: assisting with residential conveyancing mainly in connection with new build work using the firm’s case management system, carrying out property searches, communicating with developers, lenders, the Land Registry and ‘Help to Buy’ and other organisations, investigation title, drafting letters, emails and client reports, dealing with the initial stages of a conveyancing transaction and continued interaction with clients and all other parties to progress sale, purchase and mortgage transactions.

There will be opportunities for career progression. This is a full time post with salary dependent on experience together with benefits package

A Conveyancing Administrative Assistant

You will be competent using all Microsoft software packages, and, if possible, TIKIT systems (although full training will be given). This would ideally suit someone with existing residential conveyancing administrative experience, although full training on the various processes will be provided.

Roles and responsibilities will include: Opening files and updating client matters on the firm’s case management system, Distributing post, General administrative duties, Post completion and Land Registry Formalities and such other tasks as delegated by your team manager

There will be opportunities for career progression.

Full time is preferred but part time would be considered for the right candidate with salary dependent on experience together with benefits package.

Family Law and Litigation Team – a legal secretary/paralegal

Legal Secretary/PA Family and Litigation to a Partner. You will have experience in Family law.

The main purpose of this role is to provide direct support to the partner to enable them to operate at optimum efficiency.

Roles and responsibilities will include: opening files and updating client matters on the firm’s case management system, distributing post, general administrative duties, audio typing, opening archiving retrieving and filing of case files, diary management, receiving and making telephone calls from clients and other professionals, drafting and amending correspondence and documents as necessary, legal research and such other tasks as delegated and the provision of support and training of other secretaries and administration staff.

There will be opportunities for career progression. This is a full time post with salary dependent on experience together with benefits package.
