As a reputable high street law firm, we pride ourselves in providing high quality legal services to our clients.

Due to expansion, we are looking to recruit in a number of departments. Personal attributes for all applicants should include: great customer focus, a willingness to learn, flexibility in your methods of thinking, good interpersonal skills, the ability to prioritize within a high-intensity workload, an aptitude of being organized and structured in your work, and most importantly; good attention to detail.

You should be able to work between core hours of 9.00 am – 5.00 pm and either live locally or be happy with the commute to LE2 (near the train station).

Departments where we are looking to recruit, and positions available, are:

Paralegal – Private Client Team

A permanent position has arisen working in a small developing team that includes 2 Partners, a fee earner, an assistant and an apprentice, to assist and support the Partners and fee earner on all aspects of wills, probate, trusts and private client work.

Roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Opening files and updating client matters on the firm’s case management system;
  • General administrative duties;
  • Receiving and making telephone calls from clients and other professionals;
  • Drafting and amending correspondence and documents as necessary;
  • Legal research;
  • Meetings with clients to take instructions and such other tasks as delegated.

Depending on experience and qualifications, paralegal work may be delegated in drafting wills and LPA’s and dealing with the day to day administration of estates, drafting estate accounts and case management.  

Experience supporting a private client department or fee earner is essential.

This is a full-time position with salary dependent on experience together with benefits package. There will be opportunities for career progression.

Paralegal/Assistant – Litigation Team

This will be a permanent full time role, assisting in the delivery of a high quality client focused service and providing direct support to the partner to enable them to operate at optimum efficiency.

Roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Opening files and updating client matters on the firm’s case management system
  • Distributing post and general administrative duties
  • Audio typing and diary management
  • Opening archiving retrieving and filing of case files
  • Receiving and making telephone calls from clients and other professionals
  • Drafting and amending correspondence and documents as necessary
  • Legal research and such other tasks as delegated and the provision of support and training of other secretaries and administration staff.
  • Experience with Civil Procedure Rule Personal Injury Landlord and Tenant disputes and General Litigation
